Congratulations Northwest Territories Sport North Award Winners for 2012 - 2013
NWT Coach of the Year, Chuck Lirette
At the annual Sport North awards banquet held in Yellowknife, Saturday, May25, the north's top teams, coaches and athletes were recognized. Hay River's biathlon team coach, Chuck Lirette, was voted in as 'NWT Coach of the Year for 2012 - 2013'. The 'Northwest Territories Junior Male Athlete of the Year for 2012 - 2013' is Hay River's star biathlon and track athlete, Christopher Lirette. Congratulations to the Lirette family!
