Hi all,
I did it! I completed my first marathon in Athens Greece on Nov 8! 20k of rain to begin with ending with sunshine at the finish line at the stadium. I was not used to the hills and had ankle problems at the end but finished in 6h 17min. Donna ran it in 5h 21min!

Donna and I are now recuperating by the Aegean Seaside, drinking Greek Coffee, eating Baklava, sipping local wine.......post run training for sure!!!
Off to Kalamaka, Meteora and Delphi by train and bus on Sunday for more port race rest!!!
