Hay River Elks Provide Hay River Ski Club with a $1000.00 Cheque

On Friday, November 24, the Hay River Elks, represented by Gary Hoffman presented a $1000.00 cheque to biathlete, Christopher Lirette of the Hay River Ski Club. The donation will provide the biathlon range with a new knockdown target which will be used for the upcoming Arctic Winter Games Northwest Territorial Trials. The Hay River Elks have long been a major sponsor of the biathlon program. Ski and snowshoe biathletes from across the north will be in Hay River for the trials on the weekend of December 9 - 11.
The Elks are also pickup the costs for maintaining the road into the skiclub each winter. We are truly appreciative of the great support we receive from the Elks and Gary Hoffman our esteemed number one grader operator.
